Week of 5/4/2026 Encouragement

5/4/2026

God has so freely given His Son, the living Word, to instruct us how to overcome and triumph in this life. God’s Word is powerful; however, it is not automatic. We must first know what God says, by reading His Word. We then have a choice to believe and become doers of His Word, or think we and the world are smarter than God. It’s very scary how many people truly believe they are smarter than God. That mindset produces hurt, despair, and death. When we adapt to God’s mindset, it produces health, joy, peace, and abundance. We must continually be on guard. Which mindset are we applying and adapting to?
“And they (God’s Words) will be life to your inner self, and a gracious ornament to your neck (your outer self).” Proverbs 3:22 AMPC‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬
Lord, we repent (change our mindset), and choose to agree with Your ways. We invite Your powerful Word to transform our every thought. Help us to let You continually change us from the inside out, like only You can. Thank You for Your great love, that has no boundaries. Blessings, as you adapt and are strengthened by God’s Word, which releases healing and restoration. Love y’all, but remember: JESUS LOVES YOU MORE!!!

As we consistently train our minds to think upon God’s Word, it will release His wisdom to overcome every obstacle we face. Trusting in the truth of His precious promises replaces, fear, worry, and anxiety. If our tendency is to stress and worry, it means we need to believe God’s promises more in that area. We need to focus on what He says, so our covenant in Him becomes bigger in our mind and thoughts than the problem.
“Then you will walk in your way securely and in confident trust, and you shall not dash your foot or stumble. [Ps. 91:11, 12; Prov. 10:9.] When you lie down, you shall not be afraid; yes, you shall lie down, and your sleep shall be sweet.” Proverbs 3:23-24 AMPC‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬
If the problems of life are robbing us of rest, that’s a good indication our thoughts are filled with something other than God’s promises. Holy Spirit, thank You for leading us in God’s promises, that changes our mindset to believe God is bigger than any situation we face. Thank You for revealing God’s truth, that causes us to be overcomers in this life. Blessings, as God’s Word renews your every thought process, releasing confidence in Him to triumph through every difficult obstacle in life. Love y’all, but remember: JESUS LOVES YOU MORE!!!

It is vitally important to keep our full confidence in the Lord. We are convinced and know His Word is truth. That is why we must be watchful of what voices we are choosing to listen to. We may say, I only listen to the news to stay updated. If its causing fear, then perhaps limiting that voice would be beneficial. We must remember, God has not given us a spirit of fear. Anything producing fear, worry, or concern is causing us to doubt the Word of God and His protective, healing promises.
“Be not afraid of sudden terror and panic, nor of the stormy blast or the storm and ruin of the wicked when it comes [for you will be guiltless], For the Lord shall be your confidence, firm and strong, and shall keep your foot from being caught [in a trap or some hidden danger].” Proverbs 3:25-26 AMPC
God, You are our great and mighty Savior. There is nothing we face that is bigger than You, so help us not to make situations we are facing bigger by worry and stress. We can truly rest in Your powerful, loving kindness, that You have extended to us through Christ Jesus. We choose to keep our minds stayed on Your truth. Blessings, as you set your mind consistently upon God’s promises of health, provision, protection, and deliverance. Love y’all, but remember: JESUS LOVES YOU MORE!!!

Once we receive Jesus as our Lord, we have within our spirit the built-in ability to trust and know God’s Word of truth. Now, we are in the process of setting our minds to agree with God. What is in our spirit becomes reality in our lives. Our confidence is completely in the goodness of our God. We are no longer controlled by things that do not line up with God’s promises. We have all power and authority to resist every deceptive lie of the enemy and walk in the abundant life of Christ Jesus.
“By faith [that is, with an inherent trust and enduring confidence in the power, wisdom and goodness of God] we understand that the worlds (universe, ages) were framed and created [formed, put in order, and equipped for their intended purpose] by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible.” Hebrews 11:3 AMP
Lord, we place our full confidence in Your finished work, that has given us everything we need to overcome in this life. Today, we speak Your promises that form, equip, put in order, and release Your intended purposes for every area of our lives. We are reframing every area of our lives, that are out of alignment with Your Word. They must come into alignment with Your intended purposes of abundance. Blessings, as you restructure your life to the blessings of God. Love y’all, but remember: JESUS LOVES YOU MORE!!!

Our natural response when someone hurts or insults us, is to do the same back to them, and let them know how it feels. I have found that doesn’t usually work, and it goes against what the Word teaches. It is important that we go to the Lord and ask Him to help us desire His ways, which will release His heart. He has forgiven us of all our wrongs, so we can release and forgive those who have wronged us. We can only do this with His Love. Again, forgiving someone is not saying what they did was ok. It’s choosing to release them to God, so He can deal with them. When we do this, He is able to heal our hurt, so we can walk in freedom and peace.
“But I tell you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,” Matthew 5:44 AMPC‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬
Lord, we have Your enabling power to forgive, like You forgave on the cross. Help us to activate it in our lives, so we will no longer be controlled by the wrong choices of others. The more we release to You, the less we have to carry and deal with. Thank You for Your wisdom and acceptance, that drives out the hurt and rejection the enemy tries to keep us entrapped in. Blessings, as you walk out the principles of God, that will release total freedom in your lives. Love y’all, but remember: JESUS LOVES YOU MORE!!!
