The cross looked like defeat and failure, but the suffering our Saviour chose to endure was a complete victory over the enemy of our soul. Because Jesus tasted death, we may die physically, but we will never taste death spiritually. He paid the price for every sin, disease, and weakness, so they could no longer dominate us. We have authority and dominion over them. “David wasn’t the one who ascended into heaven, but the one who prophesied: ‘The Lord Jehovah said to my Lord, I honor You by enthroning You beside Me until I make Your enemies a footstool beneath Your feet.’” Acts 2:34-35 TPT The enemy is under our feet. Now, we get to use him as a footstool to reach higher places. Let’s make sure we’re keeping him under our feet and not over our heads. We do this by pulling down every lie and thought that is contrary to God’s Word. Blessings, as you step upon the enemy’s head and take your rightful authority in Christ. We choose to give our attention to what God is speaking to us through His Word. We stand against every voice that does not agree with His truths. What we consistently hear and give our attention to, is what we will believe: life or death, hope or despair, blessings or curses. “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:17 NKJV The more we give our attention to what God says, above everything else, the more we will know and trust His loving plan for us. If we have doubts about His love, it means we’ve been listening to the wrong things. Lord, help us give Your Word our attention, so we believe Your truth above every lie. We can change our thought patterns by choosing to think on God’s Word, and who He says we are. The more of God’s Word we know and believe, we not only change our thought patterns and our actions. The Word tells us, “as a man thinks he is”. We must believe and not doubt. “We can demolish every deceptive fantasy that opposes God and break through every arrogant attitude that is raised up in defiance of the true knowledge of God. We capture, like prisoners of war, every thought and insist that it bow in obedience to the Anointed One.” 2 Corinthians 10:5 TPT Lord, thank You for making us aware of our thoughts and attitudes that do not agree with You. Your Word in us replaces them with Your Truths. Blessings, as God’s Word renews, refreshes, and transforms your thoughts and actions. Love y’all, but remember: JESUS LOVES YOU MORE!!!

Christ, in His infinite love, paid the price for our sin that condemned us under the law. The law is good, but it is meant to bring us into an intimate relationship with God. Knowing we couldn’t keep it, Jesus came and completely fulfilled the law. In Him, we are completely free from the curse, which was a result of failing to keep the law. Wow! What a great and merciful God we serve. “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”),” Galatians 3:13 NKJV Thank You for Your precious Blood, that took us out of the kingdom of darkness and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of God! Now we are able to hear Your Word and do it, because we are joined with You. We are empowered by You, and Your desires are becoming our desires. Thank You for helping us trust and believe You more! God expressed His great love by sending Jesus to the cross. Jesus expressed His great love by being obedient to the death on the cross. The Holy Spirit expresses His love by leading and guiding us in all truth. We express love by loving God first, then loving others. We express love by seeking His Kingdom principles and His righteousness first. “For [if we are] in Christ Jesus, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but only faith activated and energized and expressed and working through love.” Galatians 5:6 AMPC Lord, we know Your desire is for us to trust, believe, and have confidence in You above all else. That is how we demonstrate Your great love in the earth. We stay in full agreement with Your Holy Word, with what we speak and do. Thank You Holy Spirit, for energizing and empowering the Word of God in us daily, to release the Heart of God to others. Blessings, as you are filled to the full with God’s love! Jesus was willing to be crucified! He took all the curses we deserved, so we could receive all the blessings He deserved. Because of His finished work on the cross, we have received the Spirit of God, to reveal to us all that God has planned for us. Man’s wisdom would like to convince us the world’s way is wise, and that the Word of God is foolishness. That’s why we choose to walk according to the spirit and not the flesh. We know that God’s ways are life-giving, true, and wise. “but just as it is written [in Scripture], “Things which the eye has not seen and the ear has not heard, And which have not entered the heart of man, All that God has prepared for those who love Him [who hold Him in affectionate reverence, who obey Him, and who gratefully recognize the benefits that He has bestowed].”” 1 Corinthians 2:9 AMP Lord, help us to recognize all Your benefits, and reject all the lies of the enemy. Help us to settle in our hearts, Your promises as the ultimate truth. Man’s wisdom truly is foolishness, compared to Your wisdom. We will focus our eyes, ears, and hearts upon Your Words of Truth.
